Cars for a Cause

Two teenagers in Austin, TX were the inspiration behind this creative new event held Sunday, January 10 to benefit our organization.

Josh and Jeremy Mosier organized Cars for a Cause as part of their coming-of-age Bar Mitzvah project and as a way to give back to the community.  There were 100 exotic and classic cars, live music by Josh’s band, South of Center and other local bands, as well as raffles and games.

They chose our Foundation because of two important people in their lives:  Their first cousin, Jake Spielberg, who was diagnosed with dystonia at age eight and Josh’s grandfather, Bernie Friedberg, who is suffering from Parkinson’s disease.

Even though the event is over, you still can make a donation . Please note in the “in honor of section”, that the gift is for Cars for a Cause.
