The Scott M. Johnson Memorial Award for Dystonia and Parkinson's Disease Research is given annually to a member of our Young Professionals Committee who has demonstrated tremendous enthusiasm and dedication in helping The Bachmann-Strauss Dystonia & Parkinson Foundation raise funds and public awareness about these neuromuscular diseases.

Scott Johnson, a member of the Young Professionals Committee, tragically lost his life on September 11, 2001 in the World Trade Center. The recipient of this award is recognized as embodying Scott's generous spirit.
